共生的寓言——從物之存在邁向關係敘事
Fables of Symbiosis—From Being to Belonging
此次展覽邀請四位來自不同文化背景的藝術家共襄盛舉——Jon Ching、胡浚諺、陳宏忻與許劍豪——以各自精湛的繪畫語言，提出一場生態提問。
Jon Ching(b.1985, 美國)以魔幻寫實手法，將動植物融合為奇異生命體，探討自然共生的想像；胡浚諺(b.1985, 廣州)延續荷蘭古典繪畫精神，描繪花卉與光影間的靜謐詩意；陳宏忻(b.1992, 台灣)透過雪貂的習性，暗喻社會壓力下的自我偽裝與情感防衛；許劍豪(b.1981,香港)則融合東西方繪畫語彙，在虛實交錯的畫面中探索人與環境間的感知邊界。
本次藉由藝術展演的同時，於純粹美感的實踐與欣賞中，試圖透過這些藝術家視角捕捉著生命差異中的共感，再次省視對於環境、主體、他者等切身生活的關係敘事。
It brings together four artists from diverse cultural backgrounds —Jon Ching, Wu Chun Yin, Chen Hung Hsin, and Hui Kim Ho—each contributing their unique visual language to pose an ecological inquiry through painting.
Jon Ching (b. 1985, USA) employs a magical realist style to merge flora and fauna into fantastical lifeforms, exploring the imagination of natural symbiosis. Wu Chun Yin (b. 1985, Guangzhou) continues the spirit of Dutch classical painting, portraying the quiet poetics of flowers and light. Chen Hung Hsin (b. 1992, Taiwan) uses the behavior of ferrets as a metaphor for emotional defense and self-concealment under social pressure. Hui Kim Ho (b. 1981, Hong Kong) blends Eastern and Western pictorial languages to investigate the perceptual boundaries between humans and their environments in images where illusion and reality intertwine.
Through this exhibition, the artists’ perspectives invite viewers to engage with pure aesthetic experience while reflecting on empathy within difference. It offers a renewed lens to examine the interwoven narratives between environment, self, and others in our everyday lives.
