A first-time honor in the Taiwanese art scene—congratulations to Lo Chan Peng for being awarded the 2023 “Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize,” the global grand prize across all mediums! This international art award, held in the United States, aims to commend exceptional performances by artists in the field of representational visual arts.

The award encompasses various mediums, including fine arts, sculpture, photography, and digital creations, spanning a range of styles such as realism, surrealism, pop surrealism, and lowbrow art. This year, 145 participants from 82 countries advanced to the semi-finals. Due to the high caliber of the submissions, the number of finalists for the grand finale expanded from 15 to 20 individuals, to select winners in each category as well as an overall grand prize recipient. In a fiercely competitive field, Lo Chan Peng stood out and rightfully claimed the top honor.
