Wong Chak Hung (b.1963, Hong Kong) has been actively participating in exhibitions and art fairs both locally and internationally, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Beijing, and London, since graduating from the Oil Painting Department at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. He has also contributed to charitable activities, such as charity auctions for the Hong Kong Cancer Fund. His conceptually rich and continuously evolving works, like the recent “Not Fashion Magazine” and his latest piece, *Venus*, showcased at Art Central, have garnered widespread media attention. His works are part of the collections of institutions such as the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, The University of Hong Kong, Fung Ping Shan Museum, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Hong Kong Baptist University.

Wong is adept at exploring and utilizing common elements from everyday life, developing them into artworks with both recognizable style and symbolic meaning. His imagery draws from art, magazines, and films from various cultures and eras. He integrates his own likeness into these works through techniques of disguise and parody, capturing and reflecting on phenomena from the real world. In his creations, which appropriate elements from popular culture, he combines and juxtaposes different personas, skillfully reconstructing media narratives while embedding profound reflections on public issues.
