The Hoki Museum in Japan is currently showcasing Lo Chan Peng’s works “Purple Tears” and “The Prayers Under the Tree” for the first time.
As the first Taiwanese artist to be included in the Hoki Museum’s collection since its opening, Lo Chan Peng’s works start from the deep inner feelings of human collective life. Using his consistent aesthetic style, he explores the spirituality that lies beneath the surface of human existence, approaching the sacred, the mysterious, and the ineffable. Chaos and order, piety and profanity, liberation and confinement… intertwine like a tapestry, inviting viewers to explore and reflect on the essence and meaning of life.
The exhibition runs until November 11, 2024. Friends in Japan are welcome to visit!
